Blog #8: LAST BLOG! I promise!

Yep. This is the last blog for this class. (For Edward, this is his last blog ever. For clarification, check out the title of his blog. ) And this isn't even a normal kind of blog but rather a reflection of blogging. Yes. I have an obsession with thinking critically about our writing processes. I can't help it. I think I was born with this obsession. So here's what I want you to address in this blog: •       Introduction of Gee’s contention that a discourse is actually an identity kit. Do not simply quote him. Instead, quote him and explain what he means. ~ •       A description of the scope of the blog assignment in order to create context. Include a discussion of how this blog required you to create an identity to present to an audience. ~ •       Description of the audience you envisioned. Most of you envisioned this class.
